The Streator cops said that a few people were arrested over the weekend.
Police arrested Ashley Moats, 31, of Streator on Saturday afternoon. Police arrested her in the 300 block of Chicago Street because she did not show up to answer a theft charge. Ashley Moats was taken to the jail in La Salle County.
Also, cops were called to the 600 block of North Everett Street early Sunday morning. There, they say that Ayman Abu Shanab, 63, of Streator was acting in a rude way. He was given a ticket and told to appear in court in La Salle County soon.
